From an early age Zach had been highlighted as a player to watch and is certainly living up to that billing with his consistently dazzling performances on the biggest stage.
He has barely missed a game since making his international debut in October 2018, appearing at a World Cup and two EuroHockey Championships with England before starring as GB finished fifth at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
He was nominated for the FIH World Young Player of the Year award in 2019.
Zach was captain as England’s men won a super Commonwealth Games gold at the home tournament in Birmingham in the summer of 2022.
A supremely talented player, Zach offers an abundance of threat going forward and can often be found dancing and weaving his way past opposing defenders. Sometimes he also likes to pull off 3D skills in front of his own goal as well!
Zach’s family are his biggest supporters and his brother acted as his mascot during the FIH Olympic Qualifiers, running out and standing alongside him during the national anthems.
