Tim Nurse made his senior England debut against Argentina in the FIH Pro League in February 2022, a call-up he described as a "dream that became a reality" after progressing through the England U21 ranks and winning consecutive Sultan of Johor Cups with Great Britain's U21 side in 2017 and 2018.
He played in every one of England's matches at the 2023 EuroHockey Championships in Germany, helping the side to silver, and also contributed to Great Britain's Pro League silver that year.
Nurse was named in the Great Britain squad for the Paris 2024 Olympics, where the team went out in the quarter-finals on penalties to India, and has continued to feature for both England and GB through subsequent seasons. He plays his club hockey for Surbiton.
