The strong and powerful defender – who also possesses a wicked aerial – has already claimed an impressive array of silverware.

This includes gold and bronze medals at the Olympics alongside winning the 2015 EuroHockey Championships with England. In the summer of 2022 she furthered her incredible medal haul as part of England women’s first ever gold medal-winning Commonwealth Games squad.

Giselle was introduced to the sport from a pushchair, watching her mum playing back at home in Devon, and now has a pitch named after her at Plymouth Marjon HC, ensuring her legacy will live on in the area for a long time yet.

Away from the pitch, Giselle – who gained a Sport & Exercise Science degree from Loughborough University – is also a highly talented cricketer and loves to kayak whenever she gets the time. She is also a very keen baker and runs her own baking business while also making many birthday delicacies for the squad.
