Sophie made her senior international debut for Great Britain in October 2020, playing four FIH Hockey Pro League matches against The Netherlands and Belgium. She played her first game for England against Argentina in February 2022, having been a reserve at the 2021 EuroHockey Championships.
Alongside twin sister Olivia, she was then added to the senior women's programme in January 2022 having played for England U16, U18 (winning a bronze at the 2018 EuroHockey Youth Championships) and U21 while also spending time in the GB EDP set-up.
The summer of 2022 saw her make her big breakthrough on the international stage as she won Commonwealth Games gold and played in her first World Cup.
She currently plies her domestic trade at Surbiton having previously featured for Clifton Robinsons and spending time playing out in the USA with UCONN Huskies.
